By accessing the RitualOS Identity Protocol, you agree to these terms.
1. The Protocol
RitualOS ID is a decentralized protocol for identity management. The interface provided at id.ritualos.com is merely a gateway to interact with the underlying smart contracts and open standards. The Foundation has no control over the blockchain network or your private keys.
2. User Responsibilities
Key Management: You are solely responsible for maintaining the security of your wallet and private keys. We cannot reverse transactions or recover accounts.
Prohibited Actions: You may not use the identity layer to impersonate others, Sybil-attack governance systems, or upload illegal content to any associated data stores.
3. Disclaimer of Liability
THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. IN NO EVENT SHALL THE AUTHORS OR COPYRIGHT HOLDERS BE LIABLE FOR ANY CLAIM, DAMAGES OR OTHER LIABILITY, WHETHER IN AN ACTION OF CONTRACT, TORT OR OTHERWISE, ARISING FROM, OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE SOFTWARE OR THE USE OR OTHER DEALINGS IN THE SOFTWARE.
4. Governance
Parameters of the protocol (such as fee structures or issuing authorities) may be changed via a decentralized governance vote. By holding a RitualOS Identity, you acknowledge that the rules of the system may evolve based on community consensus.
